Some people think that we are all here to learn self-love. But, still, a lot of our healing journeys in this life seem to stem from our relationships, particularly our romantic ones. We all know that, unfortunately, love isn’t always easy. It has it’s own baggage, past experiences and belief systems that can cause things to get blocked or challenging. in this article we’re going to show you 4 signs that you’re blocking yourself from receiving love. You get embarrassed when someone talks about you.
Can I ask you 2 simple questions:
- Do you get embarrassed when someone compliments you?
- And, do you deflect or change the conversation when someone praises you for something?
Well, if your answer is yes, then something is wrong (with you). Yes, you have to learn how to take a compliment without feeling guilty or feeling the need to deflect, is one of the most important steps to opening your heart to receiving more love. And, one more thing – if you can’t “take” a compliment, chances are you are blocked from receiving and this goes hand in hand with being blocked from receiving love. And, now you probably ask yourself – what should you do? Well, that’s easy to answer – you need to practice how to graciously accept compliments and to appreciate and admire yourself for all the praise you do receive.
You must be open for love. (You’re afraid!)
This is very important for you to remember – in order to receive love, you must be open to giving love. If you’re open to giving love – you will not only love and trust in yourself but also in the world around you. But, be careful, because this can be challenging at times especially if you view the world as a cold and harsh place, but the more you start opening up room in your heart, the more you will attract positive experiences. The best way to accept this is to start smiling at people you meet on the street. This small act helps to open you and invites trust and compassion into your life.
You’re afraid that you’re not good enough.
We’re all afraid (from something or someone). Yes, fear is normal and it’s a part of your life. But, you shouldn’t allow your fears to control your life. So, if you’re afraid that you are not good enough or smart enough or good-looking enough, you’ll block the flow of love and abundance into your life – almost instantly. And, if you’re brave enough to accept yourself, you will open up the space in your heart and release the blocks holding you back from receiving love. And, many people think that the best way to practice this is to walk the path of forgiveness. This means that you must accept and forgive all the things inside of you that you once believed were not good enough. And, you need to eliminate them, so they are no longer part of your belief system and then replace them with positive and uplifting thoughts.
You judge others!
Let me ask you a question (and be honest with me!) – do you judge others, based on their actions or appearance? Share your answer in the comment section below. Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you find yourself putting down others or speaking bad for them – this will lower your vibration and close your heart from receiving love. You should know that judging others is also a sign that you are quick at judging yourself and your own actions, which moves you away from love and into a space of limits or fears. So, remember this – instead of judging yourself and others, try to practice compassion. Be gentle with yourself and try to bring a new sense of understanding as to how you perceive others. But, don’t get us wrong – this doesn’t mean that you need to tolerate bad behaviour, instead it means that you find a compassionate and loving way to deal with all of life’s situations.
How to remove the energetic blocks around your heart:
- First of all, you should practice yoga poses, such as: like camel, standing bow pose, etc. It will expand and open the chest area.
- OM MANI PADME HUM – you need to repeat this mantra during your meditation practices.
- Make sure you keep rose quartz and emerald crystals beside you.
- You should spend quality time with your friends, family and people you love.
- Breathe oxygen into the space around your heart
- Show gratitude – every day.
- You should always be open for new experiences (meeting new people, going to new places, etc.)
- You should listen to the voice of your heart – learn how to choose your heart first.
- Allow time and space to love yourself and others
